The MRP-250 Artisan Refrigerated Counter is a refrigerated work counter for bakery and pastry workshops, designed for preparing products on a chilled surface and storing trays underneath. It suits any workshop that handles doughs, creams or chocolate and needs refrigeration right next to the workstation.
What the MRP-250 Artisan Refrigerated Counter offers
The MRP-250 measures 2545 × 800 × 850 mm (length, depth and height), with an operating range of -2°C +8°C and a volume of 761 litres. It also has 0 shelves, 19 pairs of runners and a cooling capacity of 845 W. Furthermore, it uses R290 refrigerant and has climate class 5 40°C 40%.
The temperature is set from a digital control; the lower cabinet has runners for trays and the ventilated unit ensures even cooling. Freezer models operate at negative temperatures.
Construction and materials
There are some manufacturing details worth knowing. Firstly, it features a forced-air evaporator system with anti-corrosion epoxy coating. It also has automatic evaporation of defrost water. In addition, it includes injected polyurethane insulation, 40 Kg/m³, zero ODP and GWP effects. Finally, it has state-of-the-art digital control, real-time monitoring, early detection of incidents, fewer breakdowns and simplified maintenance and operation via an APP on a smartphone or tablet. All of this is designed for daily professional use and easy cleaning.
Typical applications
It is installed in pastry workshops as a chilled workstation, in bakeries to hold dough and in ice cream and confectionery shops as a preparation and holding counter. Freezer versions are used for frozen dough and products.
Options and configuration
It can also be configured with an additional grid shelf, 60x40 grid shelf, additional set of 60x40 runners, stainless steel door lock, glass door lock, left-hand motor, worktop with upstand, set of 4 castors, set of 6 castors, tropicalised 43°C, 230V 60Hz / 115V 60Hz, stainless steel back, granite worktop, white exterior and HACCP.
Installation and maintenance of the MRP-250 Artisan Refrigerated Counter
It connects to a standard power socket and needs ventilation for the refrigeration unit. It should be levelled, the stainless steel interior cleaned daily and the condenser kept clean.
How to choose the right counter
Before deciding, calculate how many trays you handle per shift, determine whether you need positive or negative temperatures and measure the space; from there, you can choose the length, doors and version. In addition, the tabs on this page contain the full technical specifications, the options and the downloadable documentation for the MRP-250.
