The APRV-950-PT Artisan Cabinet is a pastry cabinet for the workshop: tray runners, even cooling and a solid or glass door depending on the version. It is used by pastry and bakery workshops, ice cream parlours and kitchens that prepare products on trays.

What the APRV-950-PT Artisan Cabinet offers

The APRV-950-PT measures 812 × 1025 × 2130 mm (width, depth and height), has an operating range of -2°C +8°C and a volume of 935 litres. It also has 20 pairs of runners, a cooling capacity of 584 W and uses R290 refrigerant. In addition, it is rated climate class 4 30°C 55%.

A digital control keeps the temperature stable and the defrost water evaporates automatically. The interior is designed for trays and easy cleaning.

The -PT version is fitted with a (panoramic) glass door to display the product.

Construction and materials

Four construction features make the difference. First, it incorporates a MONOBLOCK system with evaporator and condensing unit. It also has forced-draught fans that stop when the door is opened. It further includes automatic evaporation of defrost water. Finally, it features injected polyurethane, density 40 Kg/m³, with zero ODP and GWP effects. In short, the whole unit is designed to run many hours a day with minimal maintenance.

Typical applications

It is installed in workshops to hold trays of product between stages, in pastry shops as a storage cabinet and, in the glass version, as a display unit in the shop. Freezer versions store frozen doughs and products.

Options and configuration

The unit also accepts the following options: a 60x80 grid, a set of 4 castors, 43°C tropicalisation, 230V 60Hz / 115V 60Hz, a door-opening pedal and MIX steel and glass doors.

Installation and maintenance of the APRV-950-PT Artisan Cabinet

It plugs into a standard power socket and needs ventilation for the condenser. It should be levelled, and the interior, runners and condenser should be cleaned periodically. If the unit is placed in a front-of-house area, it is advisable to keep it away from heat sources and direct sunlight, which make the refrigeration unit work harder. Checking the condition of the gaskets and the cleanliness of the condenser every few months keeps consumption low.

How to choose the right cabinet

To choose, consider the number of trays, the format, whether positive or negative temperatures are needed and whether a glass door is of interest. In the tabs on this page you will also find the full technical specifications, the options and the downloadable documentation for the APRV-950-PT.
